The séjour (kitchen, dining room and sitting room) occupies the first floor, with a wood-burning stove for winter nights. It has sofas/armchairs and a wooden seat, plus a dining table which seats 8 (10 at a squeeze). French windows open towards the river.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven (with grill), fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, and dishwasher. There is also a CD / radio. There is a second fridge (with freezer compartment) on the ground floor, together with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and ironing board and iron.

From the séjour a staircase leads you up to the second floor, with 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom; then up to the third floor, with another double bedroom/sitting room and French windows onto the sun terrace. The terrace is open on two sides, ideal for eating or sunbathing, and has wonderful views over the river, the little valley and towards the hills and Mont Canigou. It has a large table, chairs, sun loungers, and umbrellas.

The annexe - with 5th (double) bedroom - is down a short alleyway and by the pool, garden (with trampoline) and garage. The pool has furniture by it, and there is table tennis in the garage: old sofas make the garage an extra recreational space. There is also an indoors 'summer kitchen' for whatever is needed to supplement the barbecue.

The courtyard has a bench which can be supplemented by a small garden table and chairs. There is also a barbecue available, usually down at the pool.

For small children: the house has a (travel) cot and bedding, a high chair, a portable child’s bed side, and baby alarm. There is also a portable stair gate.

Games and books: there is a set of boules, and various other outdoor games, plus board games. There are guide books, maps and other local information, cookery books and novels.

Linen is provided and if you stay more than one week the linen can be changed on request. Central heating (in winter) and hot water are provided 24 hours a day. Bedrooms without central heating have electric radiators.

River and more swimming: the short alleyway from the house leads down to the river, with a public area for ad hoc picnics. You can walk (about 5 minutes) upstream to the waterfall on this side of the river. In the summer months (when the river is lower) there is a beautiful natural swimming pool there, and a series of waterfalls and swimming pools if you clamber further up the gorge. Otherwise, there is swimming (and a beach) at the lake in Vinca - and of course in the Mediterranean (try Le Racou).

Walking: the Grande Randonnee 36, coming from Vinca, passes the village. For less ambitious walking, follow some of the alleyways uphill from the central part of the village, and you can stroll through vineyards and fruit trees round the upper side of the village.

Shops & Services: a baker’s van calls near the house 6 days per week. Closest shops, post office and bank, cafes and restaurant are available in Vinca - less than 10 minutes drive. Otherwise, Marquixanes and the towns of Prades and Ille-sur-Tet also have facilities.
